Made by rakhi makers.
Who we are
We are a family business in Jaipur. We make and sell rakhis through rakhiz.com, and hand block printed clothing through theblockart.com. Every Raksha Bandhan we answer the same questions again and again: when is it this year, when should I order for my brother in Toronto, what should I give my sister back. rakhis.org is where we keep the answers.
How we work
- Dates are checked. We compare festival dates and timings across more than one panchang, and say so when they differ by city or country.
- Shipping times are real. Delivery estimates come from what our own shop sees, and we always build in a margin.
- We say when we link to ourselves. Links to rakhiz.com and theblockart.com go to shops run by our family. The guides are written to be useful whether you buy from us or not.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake, or your family has a tradition we have not covered, write to us through the contact page on rakhiz.com. We read every message and update the article.
